You’ve probably heard of Switzerland dozens of times before, so it won’t come as a surprise to you if I tell you it is, from what I have seen at least, a beautiful place. It is extremely easy to travel around with trains and buses and there really seems to be no boring / visually uninteresting places in that country.
However, as I was traveling on a budget, I simply couldn’t do anything else than walk around and take pictures of pretty things. I’m sure you have been told about the prices in Switzerland countless times already, but believe me when I say it is worse than you actually think it is. I am a big fan of nature and I am generally easy to please with cheap activities, restaurants, and so on, but there simply is no such thing in Switzerland, which is disappointing since I am sure the country has a lot to offer.
That being said, if you have tons of money to throw out the window, go and enjoy yourself – but if you are on any kind of budget, avoid Switzerland at all cost and visit the neighbouring Austria or Italy for similar yet much cheaper experiences.
