United Kingdom

United Kingdom

I unfortunately haven’t really had the chance to travel the UK, but on my way to South Africa last year, I had an 11-hour layover in London. I had just enough time to go for a walk in the city and go for lunch with some friends I met in Indonesia.  I’m hoping I can head back to the UK soon and spend some time outside of the city as I am sure there is a lot to see there.

London

Everyone knows London. Just like the first time I went to Paris, I had high expectation for London – I had heard about it so much it just had to be great. Even if it was a cloudy (but unusually warm day for November), I still had a lot of fun exploring the city for a few hours. I am sure there is a lot more to it than what I saw in only a day but unfortunately the cost of living there is ridiculously high – especially since the exchange rate with the Canadian dollar is awful – so I’ll have to save up big time to be able to stay in the city and afford to do anything that involves virtually anything else than breathing.
